An efficient and highly effective style of training that emphasizes flow drills and stress training.
Kadena de Mano (KDM) is a close-quarters Filipino-style of combat that stresses empty hand and knife fighting. Kadena de Mano is translated as "chain of hands," and through training in KDM drills, one developes a smooth, fluid response to continually changing attacks.
Trapping, checking, intercepting & re-directing, disarms, joint
locks, throws, limb destruction and vital point striking are all part
of our arsenal.
Through practicing series of drills that range from simple to
progressively more complex, a KDM practitioner becomes able to
instantly respond to attacks from any angle, leading one to move like
"chained lightning."
We are associated with the Inayan Training Organization, and
Hans is a direct student of Suro Jason Inay, the head of the system.
Hans began his study with the founder of the style, Mangisusuro Mike
Inay, who was a student of both Grandmaster Max Sarmiento and
Grandmaster Angel Cabales.
