All Classes are taught by Sensei Hans Ingebretsen who holds a sixth degree black belt in Kenpo Karate and a fifth degree black belt in Ju Jutsu.
Clothing requirements: Loose, comfortable clothing is recommended for beginners, while a black karate or a white judo/ju jitsu (gi) is required for intermediate and advanced students.
Students may purchase gis from the instructor or get more information as to where one can purchase karate gear.
All classes are held at the Campbell Community Center in room M-50.
Pre-registration is required; no sign ups taken at the class.
Belt testing is optional; an additional fee is payable to the instructor if students wish to participate in belt testing.
Parents are invited to attend all workouts. Silencing cell phones and taking personal calls outside the Youth room during class is appreciated.
LITTLE SAMURAI KARATE 1 & 2 (6-7 yrs)
Exercises and activities will be taught that develop balance, coordination, posture, focus, discipline and respect for oneself and others.
This class will nurture their sense of body awareness and enhance their social skills in a fun and challenging environment.
Level 2 is for students who have graduated from Level 1 and have been recommended by the instructor to advance. Classes held in room M-50.
